Nétonon Noël Ndjékéry

BIOGRAPHY

 

Born in Moundou, Chad, Nétonon Noël Ndjékéry lives in Nyon, Switzerland. To date, he has mainly published short stories and novels, including ‘Au petit bonheur la brousse’, ‘Il n’y a pas d’arc-en-ciel au Paradis’, ‘L’Angle mort du rêve’ and ‘La fabrique du merveilleux’. He always strives to write his stories in keeping with the adage cherished by the gosstar or griots of his native country: “A good story should make you cry as much as it makes you laugh. If it manages to make you cry with laughter, so much the better.”
