Bernard BOËTON

BIOGRAPHY

 

Bernard BOËTON, born in 1950, a French and Swiss citizen with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, has worked for four decades in humanitarian aid, notably with the Terre des hommes Foundation in Lausanne, Switzerland, as a project manager in Africa, Asia, and Central Europe, and later as director of communications and fundraising in Switzerland.& From 2000 through 2015, as the lead on international advocacy based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, he led numerous training sessions in countries where the organization operates and participated in several international campaigns and conferences. At the same time, he created and led seminars on human rights for students at the  University of Teacher Education of the Canton of Vaud and on Project Management for students at the Institute of Human Rights at the Catholic University of Lyon.
