Over three days, FILAA offers a rich programme of literary encounters, conferences, workshops, readings, book signings and moments of exchange around African books and arts. Organised in Lausanne, the festival highlights the diversity of African voices, creations and artistic expressions.

The programme is presented day by day to make your visit easier. Activities take place in the festival’s different areas: main stage, encounters area, youth area, conference room and book signing area.

Presentation

Three days of discovery, dialogue and creation

FILAA brings together women writers, writers, creators, professionals and readers around a programme designed to create dialogue between literature, arts, transmission and cultural diversity.

Day 1

Official opening of the festival, first encounters with guests, opening conferences and launch of the discovery spaces.

Day 2

A day dedicated to youth, creation, public readings, cultural exchange and book signing sessions.

Day 3

Literary conversations, professional meetings, final highlights of the festival and closing moments in a spirit of sharing and conviviality.
